GONE
GONE documents the abandonment of Southern culture through the neglect and deterioration of its architecture. These buildings survived the Civil War only to fall victim to natural disasters, economic abandonment, and cultural neglect. My research takes me deep into cotton country on working farms and in the woods. I photograph these ruins to promote historic and cultural preservation.
